Tell us what you are building and where. John will come back with a scope, a number, and a date we can start.
Sending drawings or a scope sheet gets you a real number fastest. Photos from your phone are fine too — we would rather see something than guess.
Don’t see your area? Ask anyway — if the work is there, we will travel to it.
It depends on the wall — square footage, the material, how much detail work is in the elevation, access and scaffold, and what the site conditions actually are once we dig. Rather than a per-square-foot guess over the phone, we look at the drawings, walk the site, and give you a written scope with a real number.
There is no radius limit. We are based in Batesville and work North Central to Northeast Arkansas as a matter of course — Jonesboro, Searcy, Mountain Home, Conway, Little Rock — but for the right job we will travel wherever the work is.
Yes, and it is the direction the company is going. Shopping centres, churches, medical and retail build-outs, housing developments and 55+ communities. Our largest job to date was a roughly $3M church in Harrison — about eighty thousand brick.
No — though it is what we get referred for most. Block and foundations are a big part of the business, but we also do commercial brick and stone, monument signs, fireplaces and chimneys, outdoor living, historic restoration, plus framing, roofing and full remodels.
Everything except plumbing. Masonry, framing, roofing, remodels and build-outs are all carried by our own crews, which means one contract and one schedule instead of coordinating separate subs.
The family masonry business was founded in 1945 — four generations. The company in its current form, under co-owners John DeArmin and Tony Stephens, is seven years old.
