Whole-house remodels and historic masonry restoration. We have taken a 130-year-old church back to sound — matching mortar colour and joint profile, replacing brick that had spalled through, and repointing by hand where a grinder would have destroyed the arris.
On remodels the masonry is usually the hardest part to make disappear: a new opening in an old wall, an addition that has to blend into forty-year-old brick. Getting the blend right is most of the job.
